Basic information

Unimet D.O.O. provides its customers with CNC turned and machined parts, sheet metal parts, assembling and testing of parts and instruments. We employ more than 200 employees and our head office is situated in Kać, next to Novi Sad, in north part of Serbia. We have two manufacturing locations, one in Kać and the other in Jarmenovci next to Topola, 100km south of Belgrade. Manufacturing is being held under 6500m2 in five production facilities.

Our highly productive CNC machines are capable of executing complex and precise demands. The machines are of renowned Japanese, American and European brands. We currently have about 50 CNC machines at our disposal (of which the brands are Star, Okuma, Tsugami, Takisawa, Quaser, Dah Lih, Hardinge, OKK, Daewoo, Ikegai, Enshu and Hermle). Apart from the CNC machines, we have a large number of universal machines with accompanying equipment.

Besides standard measuring equipment, we have a Mitutoyo EURO-C-A574 CMM 3D coordinate measuring machine, a profile projector, a hardness tester and a surface treatment thickness tester.

About 70 % of all manufactured goods are sold to our main business partner, Brovex AB in Sweden.

The main products that Unimet manufactures today are flow-control instruments (positioners and switchboxes), valves, construction lasers, sub assemblies for pick and place machines for the electronics industry, beverage packaging machines and parts for pneumatic power tools. Recently we started a production of parts for aerospace industry.

Through Brovex we provide flow-control industries in the US and Europe with final products and spare parts. The end users of these products are companies in oil, chemical, food and beverage and the pharmaceuticals industries.

Our sister company, Brovex AB in Sweden, provides us with machines, material and liquidity when needed. This way we gain access to Swedish markets which makes us more efficient and competitive.

Suppliers

Our network of about 30 domestic suppliers from different industrial branches such as rubber molding, plastic injection molding, surface treatment, electronics assemblers etc. take part in many processes of the manufacturing of sub-systems. All of these suppliers contribute and play an important role in our sub-system manufacturing since instrument manufacturing requires many different processes to be carried out. Precision grinding, lost-wax casting and hardening are examples of processes where our suppliers meet exceptionally high quality requirements.
